Score Changelog
Every quarter we publish a diff of what changed in the rankings: new products added, products removed and why, score movements of ±5 points or more, and any methodology updates that materially affected the ranking. Treat this as the audit trail for our recommendations — if a product disappeared from the top of its category, this is where you find out why.
Reporting cadence
- Quarterly
- Full score-change report with category-level diffs.
- Weekly
- Automated price + Amazon-rating refresh (no human report; visible in each product's "Last verified" date).
- Ad-hoc
- Methodology updates and major review-publication award additions trigger a same-week note.
Q2 2026 — first quarterly report
The inaugural quarterly report covers the catalog state from late February 2026 through end of May 2026. It will publish on June 5, 2026, and will include:
New entries
Products added this quarter from the buyitforlife.com gap-import sweep and from user feedback submissions. Currently +132 products added in May.
Removed entries
Products that fell below the 4.5★ inclusion threshold, had their ASIN reassigned by Amazon (and no replacement found), or were discontinued. The ASIN audit run from May 12 is the source.
Methodology updates
Any changes to the scoring weights, inclusion filters, or cross-reference signals — with rationale.
