By using Lifetime Picks (lifetimepicks.com) you agree to these terms. If you don't, please don't use the site.

What we do

We curate recommendations for durable consumer products and provide affiliate links to where you can buy them, primarily Amazon.com. We make money via the Amazon Associates Program when you buy through our links.

No purchase contract with us

We don't sell anything directly. We're a content site with affiliate links. When you click “Buy on Amazon,” you're entering a transaction with Amazon, governed by Amazon's own terms. Returns, refunds, shipping, warranties, customer service for the actual product — all handled by Amazon and the manufacturer, not us.

Accuracy of information

We do our best to keep product information accurate (price, availability, ratings, descriptions, awards). But:

• Prices change constantly on Amazon. The price you see at checkout is the price that applies, not what we listed.
• Product specifications change with new model releases. Always read the actual Amazon listing before purchasing.
• Availability fluctuates. A product we recommend may go out of stock.
• We do not warrant that the information is complete, current, or error-free.

Awards and reviews from third parties

When we cite awards from publications like Wirecutter, America's Test Kitchen, Consumer Reports, CNET, Wired, etc., these are our reading of public “best of” lists. Those publications' current picks may have changed. Always check the original source if a specific award matters to your purchase decision.

Acceptable use

Don't:

• Scrape the site programmatically (automated requests are throttled).
• Reproduce our content on other sites without attribution.
• Use our affiliate codes to refer your own purchases (Amazon prohibits this and they'll catch it).
• Submit anything illegal or abusive via the contact form.

Liability

The site is provided “as is.” We're not liable for purchases you make based on our recommendations, even if a product fails to meet your expectations or fails entirely. Our maximum liability for any claim related to the site is $0 — there is no payment from you to us.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes get a banner on the site for 30 days.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA. Any disputes go to a court in San Francisco County.
