Nalgene's Sustain line is the same indestructible 32oz wide mouth bottle backpackers have carried since the 1980s, now molded from 50% post consumer recycled Tritan resin instead of virgin polymer, the dimensions, threads, and durability are identical. These survive being dropped on rock, run over by car tires (legendary r/Backpacking thread), and 15+ years of dishwasher cycles without crazing or leaching odors. The wide mouth fits a water filter element directly (Sawyer Squeeze, Katadyn BeFree) and accepts ice cubes, both of which the narrow mouth version can't do. Loop cap stays attached so you don't lose it on the trail. Made in Rochester, NY, where Nalgene has manufactured lab bottles since 1949.
